"Ace" was born May 1st 2006 and he is going to be a big boy who currently stands a solid 17'1 hands at 3 years old. (his sire Mezcalero stands 17'2 hands and Ace's dam is 16'2 hands).
This colt is powerfully built without sacrificing refinement and balance. He is very leggy and incredibly balanced with a long ground-covering stride and built-in auto lead changes. He is quiet, intelligent and friendly with huge, expressive eyes. Well handled since birth and loads, clips, bathes, crossties, etc... He is the smartest, easiest youngster I have ever started. All the foals out of his dam seem to come into this world "trained" and are highly intelligent, they just seem to understand all the concepts very quickly and Ace is no exception. Very comfortable with athletic feel and sensitivity.
Ace is really coming into his own in his limited free-jumping experience, displays awesome scope and carefulness, the sky is the limit with this one. Wonderful ground manners, very sweet and loving temperment.
Ace is a Voltaire grandbaby and he is also infused with the blood of Ramiro so we expect great things from this one. Price will increase as he continues training.
