"Quin" is one the fabulous few geldings sired by the great "Crin Rouge" (son of Quoglof Rouge). His sire Crin Rouge competed internationally as a grand prix showjumper including prestigious competitions as the World Cup showjumping finals and Fontainebleu jumping championships in France.
"Quin" is tall and correct and has a lovely temperment. He is very friendly, good for vet, farrier, trailers, clips, bathes, etc... He has been well handled since birth and has no known vices or soundness issues. He is big for his age (currently stands 16'3) and we expect him to mature at 17+ Hands.
Quin has long, ground covering gaits and appears to be very brave and careful over fences. As you can see from the pics, he is very scopey and athletic in his limited free-jumping experience (he did jump a 4 ft. pasture gate on his own in perfect form). We think he has all of the qualities to be an upper level jumping prospect or eventer and is a nice enough mover for dressage.
Thus far in Quin's training, he has been lightly backed and bitted in the roundpen. He will quietly wear a bit, is very light and forward, carries himself in a natural frame. Will be easy to finish, price will increase accordingly.
